RefRadar is a free companion app for soccer referees who take their assignments through Ref Centre. It watches for open games so you don't have to — and on match day it becomes your clock, your scoreboard and your card record.

Finding games

• Every open game, the second it's posted — pulled straight from your Ref Centre account, so you see one the moment it appears rather than the next time you remember to check.
• Distance and drive time to every field — worked out from your home address, before you decide whether a game is worth taking. Ref Centre doesn't show this.
• Filters that match how you actually pick — by distance, day, time of day and age group.
• Instant alerts — a push notification when a new game matches your filters.
• Accept without leaving the app — and RefRadar only reports success once the game has verifiably appeared on your Ref Centre schedule.
• Calendar sync, with conflict warnings — add games in one tap, and get warned when an open game clashes with something already in your calendar.

Running the match — new in 2.0

• A real match clock — your own half and half-time lengths, plus quarters, extra time and penalties.
• Score, cards and substitutions as they happen. Show the same shirt number a second yellow and the dismissal is recorded for you, with an undo.
• An Apple Watch app — start a match from your wrist, swipe to record for the team on that side of the screen, and feel it buzz when time is up.
• Live on your Lock Screen — the score and running clock in the Dynamic Island from kick-off to full time, plus a home-screen widget for your next game.
• A full match report afterwards — every goal, card and minute, your fee, and a heat map of where you actually ran, drawn from your Watch's GPS.

What it costs

RefRadar is free. Browsing open games, distances, filters, calendar sync and the whole of Match Day cost nothing. RefRadar Pro, an optional monthly subscription, adds instant game alerts, heat maps, earnings totals and season trends. Anything you record stays readable whether you subscribe or not.

Common questions

Do I need a Ref Centre account?

Yes. RefRadar reads your available and assigned games from your existing Ref Centre account — it isn't a separate assigning system and doesn't replace one.

Which leagues does it work with?

Any league that assigns through Ref Centre. Field distances additionally resolve for e2esoccer leagues including OSL, OWSL, OASL, OPDL, WOSL, YRSL and CSL.

Do I need an Apple Watch?

No. The whole app works on iPhone alone. The Watch adds hands-free control during a match, plus the heart rate, distance and heat map on your match report.

What happens to my health and location data?

It never leaves your devices. The workout and GPS recording run only during a match you started with Watch tracking switched on, and stop at full time. See the Privacy Policy.

Is my Ref Centre password safe?

It's encrypted at rest with envelope encryption and decrypted only in memory to sign in and read your games. RefRadar acts on Ref Centre only when you tap “Accept this game” — it never declines games or changes assignments on its own.
